Three-Legged Pony Gets Prosthetic Leg
When Angel, a mini horse was born, her mom accidentally crushed one of her legs. Owners Brenda and Lennie Green decided to amputate the leg.
Despite the challenges of nursing and caring for the pony, the couple, who run the Double B Equine Rescue in the western Maine town of Industry, made sure the horse would survive. The couple has dedicated their lives to rescuing and caring for horses in need, including Angel.
